The Restaurant is on the first floor of the Stephen Joseph Theatre, a classic 1930’s Grade II listed building, in the centre of Scarborough.
Originally the town’s Odeon Cinema. The refurbished building, known simply as the Stephen Joseph Theatre opened on 30th April 1996 and has two theatres, ‘The Round’, a 404-seat in the round and ‘The McCarthy’, a 165-seat end stage theatre / cinema.
Open for Lunch and Dinner on performance days 'The Restaurant' is perfect for your pre-theatre dining. Diners can sit back and relax and choose one, two or three courses for our menu featuring only the freshest local produce.
